Why you need an online webcam test:

Before a video call, stream, or online interview, it's useful to make sure the camera is working correctly: it delivers a clear image, doesn't lag and is properly recognized by your system. Our tool allows you to test the webcam directly in your browser.

What the test shows:

The tool analyzes the image from the camera in real time and displays several key parameters:

FPS (frame rate) - how many frames per second the camera transmits and how stable this frequency is. Low or "jittering" FPS usually indicates problems with drivers, the USB port, or insufficient device performance. Lighting - the average brightness of the frame, which helps determine whether there is enough light in the room to broadcast a high-quality image. Resolution - the actual resolution of the video stream transmitted by the camera and the aspect ratio of the frame.

How to use:

Select a camera from the list of available devices (if there are several), click the "Start" button and allow the browser to access the camera. FPS and lighting indicators are updated automatically while the broadcast is running. If necessary, you can take a test snapshot and save it to the device, and after checking, stop the camera with a single button.

Privacy:

The video from the camera is processed locally in the browser and is not transmitted anywhere. The service does not save or send the image to a server.
