Convert Text to Lowercase
Comments
Text typed with Caps Lock enabled, accidentally pasted in uppercase, or copied from a document in all caps requires tedious manual rewriting. This is time-consuming and often leads to errors. An online converter solves this problem in seconds: paste the text into the top field, and an exact copy of it appears in lowercase in the bottom field.
The tool converts the case of every character regardless of language – Cyrillic, Latin, and most other alphabets are supported. Punctuation marks, numbers, spaces, and line breaks remain unchanged, and the text formatting is not affected.
Converting to lowercase is often necessary when preparing text for email newsletters, normalizing data before importing into a database, formatting technical documentation according to standards where capital letters are used only at the beginning of sentences, and also to standardize lists of keywords, tags, or URL slugs (a slug is the part of a URL after the last slash).
